From the 1970s onward, she became a fixture on radio shows and in workshops, teaching ordinary people to recall and interpret their own dreams. The Encyclopedia of Psychology credited writers and psychologists like Faraday with "taking dream analysis out of the therapy room and popularizing it". She also contributed to the Association for the Study of Dreams newsletter and explored yoga and Zen practices, reflecting the era's spiritual interests.
Faraday believed modern society's dismissal of dreams impoverished our dream recall and self-understanding. From the 1970s, she and her partner John Wren-Lewis (1924–2006) travelled extensively across the United States, Malaysia, and Thailand before settling permanently in Sydney, Australia. She had a daughter, Fiona. Faraday died in 2006.
