Rotunda began his career in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) between 2008 and 2012, holding the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship twice alongside his brother. He debuted on WWE's main roster (2010–2011) as Husky Harris, a member of The Nexus faction. After rebranding through NXT, he returned in 2013 as Bray Wyatt, portraying a villainous bayou-cult leader commanding The Wyatt Family alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. During this run he captured one WWE Championship, two WWE Universal Championships, one SmackDown Tag Team Championship (with Harper and Randy Orton under the Freebird Rule), and one Raw Tag Team Championship (with Matt Hardy).
In April 2019, following an August 2018 hiatus, Wyatt introduced a split-personality character alternating between a Mr. Rogers-esque TV host and The Fiend, a grotesque evil-clown monster. His only televised match in this final run was defeating LA Knight at the 2023 Royal Rumble in January.
