Christopher Colquhoun is an English actor trained at RADA. Born in Sheffield on 10 January 1970, he emerged as a recognizable television presence through his role as Simon Kaminski in BBC's Casualty, appearing from 2002 to 2004. He reprised the character in Holby City and booked two-part guest spots on The Bill as Jake Quinn. His television credits expanded to include pathologist Dr Tony Carmichael in the seventh season of Vera, screened in 2017, and a sustained run as Special Agent Derek Crown in the series Absentia from 2017 to 2020. More recently, he played James Cleverly MP in the 2025 BBC One mini-series Prisoner 951. Beyond television, Colquhoun has worked in theatre: he played Hector in William Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida at Shakespeare's Globe in London during the 2009 season, and in 2014 took on the role of Scar in The Lion King's UK tour, alongside performing as Joff in The Believers at the Tricycle in London.
