Connor Ball is a composer and bassist for The Vamps, a British pop band formed in 2012 alongside Bradley Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, and Tristan Evans. The band signed to Mercury Records (now Virgin EMI Records) in November 2012. By 2017, The Vamps achieved their first UK number 1 album with Night & Day (Night Edition); their earlier releases Meet The Vamps and Wake Up both earned Gold certification in the UK. Beyond recording, Ball has toured continuously with the band since their 2012 debut, and The Vamps became the first band to headline London's O2 Arena five years consecutively. The band also launched their own imprint, Steady Records, in partnership with EMI/Universal, signing American band The Tide as their first act. Ball was born March 15, 1996, in the UK. As a composer, he contributes to songwriting and arrangement within the group's pop framework.
