David Graziano is an American television writer and producer born in New York in 1972. His career launched when his play Acorn was produced at the Humana Festival in Louisville, Kentucky in 1998; a subsequent National Public Radio interview led J.J. Abrams to invite him to write on Felicity. Over the next two decades, Graziano accumulated credits across broadcast and cable drama—In Plain Sight, Lie to Me, Southland, the Neil Gaiman adaptation American Gods, and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, where he served as Executive Producer. He co-created, executive-produced, and served as showrunner on the CBS All Access drama Coyote, directed by Emmy winner Michelle MacLaren and starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Michael Chiklis. In development are his pilot "$alvage" at Sony Pictures Entertainment (created under Cobra Kai creators at Counterbalance Entertainment) and an untitled 1970s-set cop drama with SK Global. In June 2022, Graziano was named showrunner of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, beginning with its twenty-fourth season.
