Deantoni Parks is an American new-wave/avant-garde/experimental musician born November 2, 1977. He co-founded and serves as co-producer and drummer of the New York band KUDU alongside artist Sylvia Black. Parks is one half of the TV/film-scoring duo We Are Dark Angels with Nicci Kasper, also a KUDU member. His performance and composition credits include André 3000's album New Blue Sun (2023) and Flea's debut solo album Honora (2026). Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Parks founded multiple ventures: the record label Humani Machina (distributed via Alpha Pup by Virgin/UMG), Tech Art Fair, Technoself Immersive, and the online Technoself School of Philosophy since 2020. He has taught at Stanford Jazz Workshop and Berklee College of Music, and conducted workshops at Cooper Union, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.
