Emma Bunton

Emma Bunton rose to fame in the mid-1990s as a member of the Spice Girls, the best-selling female group of all time with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Nicknamed Baby Spice because she was the youngest member, Bunton became a defining voice of 1990s pop. The group entered an indefinite hiatus in 2000, but reunited for a greatest hits album in 2007 and two concert tours: the Return of the Spice Girls (2007–2008) and Spice World (2019).

Bunton's solo career began with her debut album A Girl Like Me (2001), which peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart and earned gold certification. The album produced successful singles including "What Took You So Long?," "What I Am," and "Take My Breath Away". Her second studio album Free Me (2004) included the top-five single "Free Me" and top-ten tracks "Maybe" and "I'll Be There". Life in Mono (2006) delivered the hit "Downtown," and My Happy Place (2019) marked her fourth studio release.

Beyond music, Bunton has worked extensively in television and radio. She judged on Dancing on Ice (2010–2011), Your Face Sounds Familiar (2013), and Boy Band (2017), and competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2006. From 2013 to 2018, she co-hosted the Heart Breakfast radio show in London with Jamie Theakston, and as of December 2024, she presents her own Sunday evening show for Heart Radio.
