Gianluigi Donnarumma

Gianluigi Donnarumma is an Italian professional footballer born 25 February 1999 who plays as a goalkeeper. He captains the Italy national team and plays for Premier League club Manchester City, widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Coming through AC Milan's youth system, Donnarumma debuted in Serie A in 2015 at 16 years and 242 days, becoming the second-youngest goalkeeper ever to debut in the league. He immediately broke into the starting lineup and earned a reputation as arguably the most promising young goalkeeper in the world at the time. After six years with Milan, during which he helped the club secure a second-place finish in the 2020–21 Serie A and qualification for the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League after an eight-year absence, Donnarumma moved to Paris Saint-Germain in June 2021 on a free transfer.
