Jack Jones is a Welsh musician, songwriter, poet and author who blends rock music with literary practice. Born in Swansea on 14 February 1992, he released his debut solo album Jack Jones on 20 September 2024, featuring the single 'Breathe'. The album reached number 3 on the Independent Breakers Chart and number 13 on the Independent Albums chart, and was awarded Album of the Week by Louder Than War. As a musician, Jones leads the alternative rock band Trampolene and plays guitar in Peter Doherty and the Puta Madres, also joining Doherty's 2025 touring band. Beyond rock, he is recognized for spoken word poetry—in 2019, the BBC Radio 4 documentary "Another Swansea Poet" centered on his work. His first novel Swansea to Hornsey was published by Strap Originals on 17 November 2023. Jones currently moves between London, Berlin and Swansea.
