His sophomore album, a rock and roll project titled Aren't We Ever Gonna Be More Than Friends?, arrived on July 28, 2023, followed by an acoustic album, Rude, Crude, and Uncouth, on December 15, 2023. He has also released three extended plays. As a singer, Herring records original music and performs across genres including pop, rock, and rap.
