Jeremy Pikser is an American screenwriter born on January 1, 2000. He co-wrote Bulworth with Warren Beatty, a film that earned nominations for Academy, Golden Globe, and WGA Awards for Best Screenplay and won the Los Angeles Film Critics' Best Screenplay award for 1998. Earlier in his career, Pikser worked as an uncredited writer on Reds, a screenplay also co-written by Beatty that received an Academy Award nomination. He wrote The Lemon Sisters and co-wrote War, Inc. with Mark Leyner and John Cusack, which premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. Pikser also served as supervising writer on Pink Subaru, which opened at the Turin Film Festival in 2009. As an educator, Pikser teaches screenwriting at New York University in the Rita and Burton Goldberg department of dramatic writing at the Tisch School of the Arts, and previously taught at Johns Hopkins University's Advanced Academic Programs. He has served as creative director of the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund Screenwriting Lab and is a regular advisor at the Sundance Screenwriters' Lab. Beyond screenwriting, Pikser contributes occasional essays to The Huffington Post and The Guardian's Comment Is Free section. In 2019, as vice president of WGA-E, Pikser oversaw the negotiating committee for the WGA-Agency Agreement during labor disputes with talent agents.

Before Fame
At Oberlin College, Pikser was a leading opponent of the Vietnam War and co-authored and organized the Not in Our Name Statement of Conscience, which opposed the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. He began his screenwriting career working as a "special consultant" and uncredited writer on Reds, Warren Beatty's Academy Award-nominated screenplay.
