Raúl Esparza

Raúl Esparza became a Broadway fixture by mastering both song and dialogue. Born October 24, 1970, in the US, Esparza made his Broadway debut in 2000 as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show revival, then starred as Jonathan in the original Off-Broadway Tick, Tick... Boom! and played Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway in 2005. His four Tony nominations came for roles in Taboo (2004), Company (2006), The Homecoming (2008), and Speed-the-Plow (2009), cementing his status as one of Broadway's most prominent leading men since the 2000s.

On television, Esparza joined Law & Order: SVU with a recurring role in Season 14 as ADA Rafael Barba and was elevated to series regular in Seasons 15 through 19.
