Subtronics (Jesse Kardon) is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born December 23, 1992, he began playing drums in childhood and discovered EDM in high school. His breakthrough came via "Griztronics," a collaboration with Michigan-based artist GRiZ that peaked at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs in late 2019. Kardon reached No. 10 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart in September 2019. His debut album Fractals (January 2022) charted at No. 4 on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart and trended globally over K-pop on Twitter/X.
