Việt Tú is a Vietnamese screenwriter, stage director, and event producer who built his career around live spectacle. Born February 17, 1977, in Hanoi, he emerged as a major figure in music television in the early 2000s, directing the Nhật thực (Eclipse) live show in 2002 and the VTV Bài hát tôi yêu series. At 26, he became art director for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2003 Southeast Asian Games broadcast across the region. He went on to direct the inaugural Sao Mai điểm hẹn in 2004 and created Con đường âm nhạc (The Music Path, 2005), establishing himself as a top music-producing director. His concert work spans Rain, Tùng Dương, Hồ Ngọc Hà, and other major artists. Beyond music, Việt Tú directed the 2008 International Day of Vesak, the Đẹp Fashion Show (2005–present), and the theatrical production Cơn ác mộng của người thợ may (Nightmare of a Tailor, 2006). In 2011, he established Dream Studio, producing the album Classic Meets Chillout (2012) and Vietnam's first real-landscape performance Thuở ấy Xứ Đoài (Once Upon A Time in Doai Province, 2017). His weekly theatrical series Tứ Phủ (Four Palaces, 2015–present), created through his company Viet Theatre, ranks among Hanoi's top cultural destinations for international visitors. Việt Tú won five Dedication Music Awards with eight nominations and holds the Breakthrough Award for Nhật thực. His work has been recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as "Typical cultural Event of the Year".
