Matthew Macfadyen

Matthew Macfadyen made his television debut in 1998 playing Hareton Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights. His career built steadily through BBC work—Tom Quinn in Spooks (2002–2004, 2011) and Inspector Edmund Reid in Ripper Street (2012–2016)—before he received the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor for Criminal Justice (2009).
